VCE Vocational Major - Literacy for Personal Use

This resource is a full unit of work for Unit 1, Area of study 1 - Literacy for personal use.

This resource includes a teacher’s unit planner with the unit broken down into 5 lessons per week for 9 weeks. There is a PowerPoint included that has all lesson content included - it’s as easy as projecting it to your class and reading off the screen! All student worksheets, workbooks, task sheets and planning documents are also included. I have also developed a simplified version of the VCAA rubric so you can choose which rubric is appropriate for you.

This is a fully inclusive unit, which includes links to all required texts so that you can print or share digitally with your students. The assessment task is a folio which comprises of 3 folio pieces: a reflective journal, a research task and a poster. Each task is scheduled in the unit plan, with appropriate content teaching and due dates.
