Suitable for KS1 and KS2 a persuasive letter written by the forest animals from the story ‘Tidy’ by Emily Gravett.

Includes features from the year 2 writing framework (221 words)
Uses elements that can be seen in the story.

Suggestion: put the letter in an envelope and place it between the pages where Pete is in the cement mixer and having regrets about what he has done. Say that the animals left him the letter to explain that they will help him put all the items back.
(the letter can be the reason for his change of heart)
