This lesson is designed to last for 1 hour but will likely last longer and is resourced with videos, extension questioning, deep thinking and uses graphs/images to aid learning.
This lesson follows the Edexcel KS4 curriculum and looks at a lot of river terminology such as precipitation, percolation, transpiration, interception etc. Students will be given the keywords and asked to add them to the correct place on a diagram before identifying stores, transfers, inputs and outputs. Students will finish by being introduced to the concept of drainage basins.
This lesson includes a starter, lesson objective, plenary, exam question and various student led activities.
