Discussion and recap of what climate graphs show and are used for.
Students use calculators to calculate the average temperature for each month for Svalbard and its average rainfall.
Students then use their green penned data sheet to construct and complete a climate graph of Svalbard.
Assessment question- ‘Describe the climate of Svalbard’ (4 marks)
Student have a success criteria to help them structure their answer and to use to peer assess.
