A 6 week booklet and powerpoint to help students improve their knowledge of basic spelling rules.
During each session, students are introduced to a spelling rule then are provided with two tasks to familiarise themselves with the rule. Their main task is to complete a ‘Look, Cover, Check’ style activity. During the end of the session, students will have a spelling test, which is to be completed at the back of the booklet. The spelling rules are basic but it provides a foundation that all students could access.
The accompanying powerpoint includes a step-by-step outline for students and teacher and all task answers.
