Whole School Long Term Writing Curriculum Map (Primary)

This long-term writing curriculum map gives teachers in each year group a breakdown of what genre to teach in every half-term. Alongside each writing genre, is a link to a book/ media to base the writing on. Each book has been chosen specifically to suit the age range of that year group. Some writing genres are also cross-curricular linked with subjects such as science and history.
