I love that this resource isn't set in 'tablets of stone'. I teach in an alternative provision, where the children struggle to even sit in their seats never mind actually concentrate long enough to read a book. I am going to use many of the slides and ideas you have suggested but also tailor it to their needs and differentiate where necessary. I will update you with progress once I have given it a trial. I'm not holding my breath, but I'm hoping that the topic will really engage them and that I will then be able to draw them in....
