This set of two worksheets helps students to analyse the picture book ‘Woolvs in the Sitee’ by Margaret Wild.
The first worksheet includes questions on plot and target audience before focusing on the use of techniques including tone and mood, use of colour and the reliability of the narrator.
The second worksheet is centred on the themes fear and alienation and also explores the use of techniques in representing these themes. It concludes with a focus question and planning scaffold to assist students to compose a response to this question.
A separate document contains a link to an interview with Margaret Wild discussing the book at the time of its publication.
All worksheets are included in both pdf and Word format to assist in compatibility.
