Word sort s/ es

This Word Sort helps students work out which words take the s plural and which use es. Word Sorts are an excellent way to encourage students to look ‘inside’ words and think ‘why’. In the early stages they can be whole class activities: later group or individual. As a group exercise it works best with mixed ability groups. Encourage students to use correct terminology when discussing ideas.
