A colourful set of 4 A3 posters which provide a step by step guide on how to answer extending questions which on graphs and tables. This resource was created for both KS3 and KS4 science learners but could be applied to other courses. Learners are supported in using the TEDY approach to answering graph or data questions. The key points are related to:
- Identifying trends
- Examples of trends using data
- Does the trend change?
- Why does the trend change?
Each poster features the key command words that link to the skill, sentence starters and a visual worked example (WAGOLL). The scaffolded principles can easily be applied to teaching presentations or used as place mats.
This resource has been really useful with all my students from KS3 - KS5.
