This is an excellent lesson for high school students to understand imperialism as well as the conflict between Serbia and Austria which led to the WWI. This lesson package includes a PowerPoint (guide questions and activity instructions) and a set of readings (including the background of the situation and information about how these two countries viewed the situation). The activity can enhance debating skills as well as sociological imagination among the students.
