There are two differentiated versions of this fun activity for Y5 and 6. Children need to gain money for a budget for a class party by choosing the best of two options. To avoid having to do every single calculation, they can use logic to determine which is bound to be the better option for some of the pairs. They need to add their totals, discover their imaginary budget then look at an online shop to find the best ways to spend it.
