Linked to the New National Curriculum English and Grammar outcomes for end of KS2 so suited to year 5 or 6 but can be modified to suit Year 3 or 4. This can be used to see what life was like and how to write an evacuation story by picking out which features to use - also includes a variety of KS2 punctuation and Year 3&4 and Year 5&6 spellings. The second page has features highlighted and a key included for specific features. There are key paragraph planning ideas for children to use when planning their own stories.

A fairly good WAGOLL but I was expecting/hoping for more content as it is all about the journey and arriving (not a lot about the destination itself) Plan not for all paragraphs and very prescriptive for most children. For £8 I was hoping this would be a resource that I could use without much adaptation/further planning but unfortunately not the case. I will use the WAGOLL but feel that £8 was a lot to spend on a story example!!!
