The idea is great. It allowed my students to consider not only the correct use of y and en but also to look at the subject in the question and determine what subject one should use in the response. It also works on identification of verb conjugation and general comprehension. My only critique is that there were far too many cards for Old Maid. The students spent so much time flipping through the many, many cards in their hands that we determined it would be more efficient with half the amount of cards. Divide the cards into two smaller stacks to make the game run more smoothly.
