Purpose:
To use our observational drawing skills to draw the fruit in Little Red Riding Hood’s basket.

This unit of work contains a detailed 7 week plan and resources. Each lesson plan outlines the WALT, lesson activities, resources required and how to evidence the children’s learning. Plans can be adapted according to the needs/abilities of your class. The individual lessons can be also be adapted in terms of length and activities. The project booklet matches the 7 week plan and the pages required for each lesson are outlined in the resources required. Each page in the booklet clearly states the WALT and the activities/knowledge required (in our recent OFSTED inspection the structure, design and layout of our booklets were praised. They also liked how clearly stated the skills and knowledge are for each lesson.) The smiley face on each page can be used as a self assessment tool.
