Year 1: Place Value (Whole class math's lessons)

This resource contains 3 whole class lessons based on Place Value.

Lesson 1: Count, read and write numbers up to 10 in numerals and words (counting forwards)
Lesson 2: Count, read and write numbers up to 10 in numerals and words (counting backwards)
Lesson 3: Counting one more (answers included on this one)

The resources are in PowerPoint format designed to be used as a whole class lesson with lots of different interactive activities included which provide opportunities for individual work and group work.

For some of the lessons you will need resources such as number cards, dice, base 10, counters etc but it should state in the PowerPoint what you will need for each activity.

The lessons can be adapted to meet the needs of all abilities as there are different levels of challenge.

My resources are based on mastery and help develop children’s verbal fluency, problem solving and reasoning skills.
