This is Lesson 4 of a five lesson Symmetry unit of work for Year 4. Lesson 4 involves the children completing symmetrical figures by reflecting across a mirror-line. The challenge activity: Complete a symmetrical figure on various different types of grids and questions for deeper understanding.

Identify lines of symmetry in 2-D shapes presented in different orientations
Complete a simple symmetric figure with respect to a specific line of symmetry
