Year 6 Statistics: Pie Charts (Day 2)

This is Day 2 of a three-day Pie Charts unit of work for year 6. Day 2 involves the children answering questions about a variety of different pie charts using the skills developed in previous session. The children will calculate values, fractions and percentages as well as use estimation to find answers. The challenge activity tasks the children to answer deeper thinking multi-step problems about pie charts.

Objectives covered:

Interpret and construct pie charts and line graphs and use these to solve problems
