This scheme of work is an exploration of many types of poems through the ages. Students will study poets such as Zephaniah, Blake, Wordsworth and Shakespeare while learning the basics of poetry analysis. The unit will end with an essay style question based on one of the poems studied. A lesson plan is provided as the last slide of each PowerPoint.
