This booklet is based upon a Knowledge Rich curriculum in KS3 Drama. It is an introduction to Becoming a Performer and could easily be used in English or Extra Curricular sessions.
The booklet contains 12 lessons in total and works towards a performance at the end of the unit.
The booklet gives students the opportunity to test their knowledge and understanding at the beginning of each lesson, update their knowledge and then do a mid lesson review. Each review should only be 5 minutes in length.
The booklet is accompanied by 12 Powerpoint presentations to be used alongside and contains all the answers to the starter and 5 minute check up’s. The explanation of how to deliver the practical tasks can be found on the powerpoints.
This resource meets all the criteria for a Knowledge Rich Curriculum with Knowledge Organisers to match the unit at the beginning of the booklet. Easily adaptable resources to meet the requirements of your establishment.
