Scheme of Work Content:
Linking with the NC Programme of Study for Science, Year 1 pupils will take the topic of ‘carnivours, herbivours, and omnivours’ and create a dance based on Dinosaurs.
They will explore moving with a range of actions and different speeds, responding to the features of different dinosaurs.
Pupils will be taught a dinosaur dance and develop their own short movement sequences based on the theme. These sequences will be improved by the use of basic choreographic devices.
