This lesson pack for year 6 links to areas of the working scientifically curriculum. Pupils will make their own simple pendulum and then investigate how changing one variable will affect the number of swings it does in a controlled time. Pupils will set up their own investigation, naming the control, dependent and independent variables, then they will make their own table and line graphs to show their results.
