Topic front covers for students for the new AQA Geography specification. So far I have created one for the Physical landscapes in the UK, the Living world and the challenge of resource management (focus on water). Each front cover has a page for the students targets, what they need to know for the section of the course, the homework questions with space to record the grade they achieved and the topic vocabulary.

This lesson takes students through how the early settlements were chosen and the environmental influencing factors. Students have to do a decision making exercise where they choose the best site as early settlers from 4 options. This lesson received an outstanding under the new ofsted criteria.

A resource created for KS3 students to carry out a DME on where a wind farm should be built. This would last around 3 lessons ending in a debate. However the resources can be used to re organise the lesson in a number of different ways.

In order to support SEN and EAL students learning the formations I have created formation 5, where each formation is broken down into 5 steps. The first lesson in a series which look at fossil fuels, renewable energy and global warming. This first lesson focuses on the fossil fuels and looks at evaluating them. I follow this up with a debate on which fuel is the most precious.
