A DIRT review sheet for the ecosystems and urban challenges section of the SAMS paper. This sheet was designed to help my students improve the answers that they got wrong as a class, so will probably need adapting to be used with other classes. I made this for my year 9 class who are GCSE for the AQA A specification. It is the first two lessons for starting to look at development. As the students start the GCSE in year 9, I have made the topic more based around exam practise.

An activity which gets students looking at the advantages and disadvantages of hard engineering techniques along the coast. With higher ability students I also get them to think about sustainability. You can stick the fact sheets in the PowerPoint around the class room or get them to pass them from group to group.\nThe table also has a differentiated version too.
