I have been creating the AQA Science Entry Level Certificate scheme of work in an SEN school for mild learning differences. My students mostly have Autism and complex dyslexia. Therefore, the lesson PowerPoints follow the same formatting every time for consistency. Resources also include a lot of visuals to support learners who are not independent readers yet.

AQA Science Specification Entry Level Certificate Science - Component 1 - Human Biology I have labelled each file with the outcome it corresponds to i.e O1, O2, O3. Loads of visuals used for learners who are not yet independent readers. For component 1, I taught this unit out of order, grouping the WBC lessons with blood topics which then could lead into health. Simple worksheets available (sometimes as separate documents, other times ppt slides can be printed out) for independent practice. I have tried to make the question types similar to what they will see in their externally set assessment. Created for a year 10 class with MLD, mostly ASD and specific reading disorders.
