The unit has been split into four separate lessons which will take students approximately 40-50 minutes each. This is an informational text writing unit about the key figures and events of Ancient Egypt. The remote learning unit has been split into three separate lessons which will take students approximately 40-50 minutes each. The Google Slides activity is ideal for distance learning and perfect for students in Year 3 or Year 4 learning about Ancient History. When downloaded this resource includes a printable version of the activity and a PDF with a link that allows you to copy the Google Slides document and save it in your Google Drive. The first lesson is interactive and involves students reading facts, and then sorting and ordering these facts into paragraphs. In the second lesson the children need to use these facts to type four paragraphs. In the final lesson your class will need to check their draft paragraphs before typing up their work on to the template provided. This activity is an online resource, that uses Google Slides, and is linked to your Google Drive. It can be completed by students online using tablets or computers. However, the resource also comes in a PDF format, which can be printed. This bundle contains digital resources, either on Google Forms or Google Slides, that link to your Google Drive. It contains an Anne Frank digital timeline, research and sorting activity; a digital reading comprehension activity; and a digital biography writing unit. Six online lessons, or six hours of activities, with NO PREP needed! The activities are ideal for remote learning and perfect for students in Year 3 or Year 4 learning about the World War 2. Firstly, there is a great Anne Frank Digital Research and Sorting Activity that is perfect for introducing students to some of the key moments and events from her life. Great for class work, distance learning or home schooling. In total there are 43 posters or task cards that need to be researched and sorted. These can also be printed to make a great classroom display. Then there is an Anne Frank Reading Comprehension Activity. The Google Forms activity comes with an informational text that students need to read through before answering comprehension and grammar questions. An extension writing task is also included.
