The ppt (8 slides) and attached ppt activity links to theory related to GCSE Design Technology (AQA) and the use application of different types of cutting tools for ‘timber based materials’.
There is a document / research activity which i use on Teams assignments to re-inforce learning attached too, covering :Cutting, chiseling. planing, drill and sanding of Timber based materials.

I issue to students for them to take ownership of their learnig and knowledge of the principals they need to aquire. I get students to log (RAG) their understanding of each topic area.
AQA NEA assessment descriptor sheets are way too cumbersome to be used effectively. I have created crib sheets to help teachers ongoing assessment . .with notes sections to help.
