This detailed 23 page PSHE / Citizenship workbook has been created for the new PSHE 2020 Statutory Guidance and focuses on prejudice and discrimination - in this case racism and the Black Lives Matter movement. It contains all of the information needed to learn about the topic in the first few pages, then the rest of the booklet is full of activities to complete. If you already have one of the EC Publishing, you’ll see this in your Dropbox as a new update. The booklet is differentiated and great for recording progress in PSHE. It’s easy to print and editable (as it comes in a portrait-version ready to print PowerPoint as well as a PDF version) - so you can always amend it for your students. It compares the validity of Amish beliefs to more mainstream Christian ones and investigates what it’s like to live in the Amish community today. It examines criticisms as well as the Church in the words of believers. This lesson is the fifth in my ‘Alternative Religions and New Movements’ Unit - originally created for year 9, but easily amended for any KS3 / KS4 group.
