A 25 minute Tutor Time session created especially for LGBT+ Month (Feb 2019). The session serves as an introduction to the LGBT+ / LGBTQAI community, breaking down the acronyms and investigating why it is still a term which it isn’t always easy to define.
This is the first of six sessions to be used throughout LGBT+ month, each focusing on and exploring the culture and history of a different aspect of the LGBTQAI community, from Lesbians (L) to Intersex (I).
The session contains three challenge learning outcomes, slides of easy to digest information, a clip task with differentiated questions, a quiz and final reflection task. The session is editable and been created to be perfect to just pick up and use.
This is a 25 minute session. For full, hour long LGBT+ PSHE lessons, please see here.

1 hour - 90 min, fully resourced PSHE lesson suitable for KS3 all returning to school after the coronavirus pandemic. The lesson allows students firstly to share their feelings and concerns about the lockdown time, the disease itself and missing school. They then investigate how they can support each other, especially in consideration of their mental health over the next few weeks.
The second half on the lesson has more of a practical focus about how diseases spread, hygiene and how students can protect themselves. The R rate is explained as well as why schools have opened and the challenges that may have to be faced.
The lesson has been left editable and is filled with engaging, well differentiated and fun activities. It is designed to be ‘no prep’, so you can just pick it up and use it, although it is still adaptable should you wish to.

Many thanks to the wonderful Brian Reeve-Hayes for allowing EC Resources to use his audit tracker.

This detailed 23 page PSHE / Citizenship workbook has been created for the new PSHE 2020 Statutory Guidance and focuses on prejudice and discrimination - in this case racism and the Black Lives Matter movement. It contains all of the information needed to learn about the topic in the first few pages, then the rest of the booklet is full of activities to complete. If you already have one of the EC Publishing, you’ll see this in your Dropbox as a new update.
The booklet is differentiated and great for recording progress in PSHE. It’s easy to print and editable (as it comes in a portrait-version ready to print PowerPoint as well as a PDF version) - so you can always amend it for your students. This could be left as cover (as appropriate to the class and cover teacher) as there’s nothing explicit on the relationships side of things and all of the terminology is carefully explained. No internet access needed.
Also included:
Progress checkers
Whole School literacy activities
Creative activities
Editable, optional assessment pack
