This bundle contains two resources that comprise a whole English lesson on adjectives.
There is a detailed but simple presentation introducing students to adjectives with definitions, frequency examples given, information on how to use adjectives in their writing, and some whole class discussion activities at the end. The presentation is designed to be delivered at the start of the lesson.
Following the presentation, students can solidify and consolidate what they have learnt by accessing the adjectives worksheet pack which contains four different worksheets.
A reading task where students can underline/highlight adjectives within a text
a fill-in the gap task where students can complete the sentences by adding their own adjectives.
a matching task where students can match the image to the most appropriate adjective.
A creative task where students can come up with their own adjectives to describe a given thing.

This resource provides a 96-page-long summary of four key areas of psychology: memory, social influence, attachments, and psychopathology. The resource gives a detailed overview of the four key areas. Specific attention is payed to giving summaries of key psychologists and studies involved in each topic area and key terminology involved in each topic area. The resource would be appropriate to use either as a presentation for teaching or revision, or as revision cards for students. The combination of topics is specifically suited to students who are studying A Level Psychology with AQA, however, the information will be compatible with any exam board / level.
Collection of three presentations each giving summaries on the political, economical, social and foreign policy developments that occurred in Britain 1951 - 1979. This covers AS Britain content. Each presentation gives summaries on key developments with much SFD; some information is presented in timelines or tables for added visual aids. The presentations are best used as revision resources or extra reading for students to help cement their knowledge and provide a back of SFD or they could be used to teach a class.
A collection of six worksheets about nouns. Designed for primary school aged children. Each worksheet covers the following:
Types of nouns ‘fill in the blank’ activity. Involving reading, writing, and memory recall. Answers provided.
Matching activity - match the type of noun to its definition.
Spot the nouns reading activity - short passage of text where children can underline/circle all the nouns they spot.

This is a comprehensive presentation that provides a chronological account of British society 1951 - 2007. The content within this presentation is specifically tailored to students studying A Level History Britain 1951 - 2007 with AQA, but the content would be appropriate for all students studying British history in this period. Examples content topics and events covered within this presentation includes: changes to women in this period, Northern Ireland, attitudes towards race and immigration, and youth culture. The style of the presentation is such that it could be easily printed to make flashcards to aid student’s revision. There is extensive use of SFD throughout the presentation.
This bundle constitutes a whole lesson on clauses. The presentations talks through different types of clauses, how clauses can be used in a sentence, and begins to introduce conjunctions. The presentation uses examples frequently to develop explanations.

The presentation is designed to be interactive, inviting discussions and questions throughout. The class activity at the end is an acting together where children can work in pairs to consolidate their knowledge of adverbs and apply what they have learnt through acting. This lesson forms part of a series designed to teach children about musical instruments and instrumental families without the need for music resources or specialist musical knowledge. The lessons are designed to be accessible to students from all musical backgrounds.
Although the lesson does form part of a series, it can also be used a stand-alone lesson on brass instrument and does not need to be used in conjunction with other lessons in the series.

Lesson Two in a Five Lesson Series on Musical Instruments and Instrumental Families
Woodwind Family - whole lesson.
This lesson pack is designed to teach children about the woodwind family. It forms part of a 6 lesson series which is designed to allow children to access a music education without the need for music resources, or specialist musical knowledge on the part of the students or teachers.
This lesson does not need to be used as part of the whole lesson series, however. It can be used in isolation to teach children about the woodwind family.
Contained in this bundle is a lesson presentation and 5 worksheets.
Presentation: 43 slide presentation to teach children about the woodwind family. The presentation covers key features of the woodwind family; instruments in the woodwind family; comparisons between woodwind instruments. The presentation is interspersed with various group, class, and individual activities including quizzes, discussion points, mind-mapping, poster making, fact file making. Questions are asked throughout to engage children and allow them to take an active role in their learning. Colour is used to aid memory.

Lesson One of a series of 6 lessons designed to teach children about musical instruments and instrumental families
Lesson one focuses on an introduction to different musical instruments and instrumental families with lessons 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 going into more detail on each individual instrumental family.
The idea of these lessons is to enable children to learn about musical instruments, instrumental families, and music more generally without the need for any specialist musical knowledge or practical music resources like instruments.
Lesson consists of a presentation and two worksheet packs. One worksheet pack on musical instruments and the other on instrumental families. There are more worksheets and activities as is necessary for one lesson to allows teachers and support staff to choose the most appropriate worksheets/activities for your students, and to allow the activities to cover a range of lessons and circumstances if need be. Some worksheets would make great starter / plenary tasks.
Presentation covers each of the instrumental families in brief detail, covering key features of each, instruments belonging to each family. It also explains how instrumental families are assigned and why. Activities and questions are embedded throughout the presentation to encourage students to have an active part in their learning. Animations and colour are used in a subtle way to engage children’s attention without being over-stimulating.

Lesson One: Introducing Musical Instruments and Instrumental Families - Worksheet Pack
Worksheets to accompany lesson one of a 6 lesson unit of work looking at musical instruments and instrumental families. The idea is to teach children about these key areas without needing any specialist musical knowledge or practical music resources like instruments.

Great starter or plenary activities, but could also be used within lesson to consolidate knowledge. Worksheets could supply a number of different lessons or the whole pack could be given at once to encourage children to structure their own learning and manage how and when they complete activities.
This is a collection of 80 different starter activities that are ideal for settling and focusing a class in Upper Primary School (Y4-6 England / P5-7 Scotland). The theme of each starter activity is a different International Day according to UNESCO’s list of International Days. This includes a selection of International Days deemed applicable, relevant, or of interest to young people.
Purpose and Theory
The idea of these activities is not to inform or teach students about these days in any depth or detail (this will be saved for lessons.) The aim is to introduce and inform students of different international days but ultimately, activities are designed around and linked in with the theme of the day in question. The aim is to help settle students and prepare them for learning through a range of calming activities which are based upon engaging topics that are relatable and relevant to their lives beyond the classroom. In some cases whole lessons could be made out of the theme of day, in which case the starter activity could be used at the start of that lesson. In other cases, activities would work well at the start of the day when students first enter the classroom.
Timings
A vast range of activities is included that aim to target a range of different skills. These activities are designed to take between 5 – 15 minutes, depending on the needs of your class and how long they may need to settle. If being used at the start of the day or immediately after lunch, 15 minutes is recommended to help put students in the mindset of learning and engagement.
Differentiation Opportunities and Inclusion
Starter activities are not designed to be overly taxing. In many cases, differentiation opportunities and limited choices are available. Most activities include an “early finisher extension task”. Equally, it isn’t recommended that the resource always be used prescriptively. Should you feel a starter would require too much brain power for a class / group of students, differentiation is recommended or indeed, not using the starter for that day. The idea of this resource is a bank of ideas. You could follow each day prescriptively or you could do some tasks but not others or you could take a task and adapt it to different day or topic if that suits your students / topic better. If students particularly enjoy one task, why not use the activity idea again on a different topic?
Activities
A range of activities are used that target a variety of different skills. Activity examples include: themed boggle, drawing, A-Z challenges, craft challenges, poster designing, quizzes / riddles, hang-man, Pictionary, acting, The Telephone Game, acronyms, wordsearches, maths problems, strategy and planning challenges, guided discussions, team-building challenges, leadership challenges, design challenges, research activities, colouring, acrostics, translation activities, coding etc. Use of technology is optional in some cases.

Quizzes
Three quizzes are included in this bundle. All 3 quizzes cover expanded vocabulary and synonyms. The difference between the 3 is in their difficulty. The quizzes are labelled “easy” “medium” “hard”. By providing you with all 3 quizzes, you can choose which quizzes are appropriate for your students. You could have the whole class working on one appropriate quiz together, or you could set students up working independently on quizzes tailored to their abilities.
All 3 quizzes include 30 questions split into numerous rounds. Each round has a different style of question type such as: multi-choice, true or false, odd one out etc. to maintain variety and enhance engagement. Each quiz has a round focused on application to sentences to ensure the quiz is relatable and applicable to learning beyond this lesson. Each quiz includes multi-choice questions to enhance accessibility. Answers are provided at the end of each round in the hard quiz so students can self/peer mark. In the medium and easy quiz, answers are provided after each question so pupils can individually select their answers. This keeps the quizzes as interactive as possible.
