Area and Perimeter of Squares GCSE Maths Revision This is a no-prep printable challenge. The worksheet has 36 boxes each showing a measurement for a square. Students need to match pairs of measurements to make 18 squares. E.g., Side = 7cm would match with Area = 49cm2. One side length has not been filled in. The challenge is for students to work out the missing answer to make 18 matching pairs. All measurements are in centimetres. All answers are included. ✎ Contents: This resource includes: • 1 Worksheet – with 36 measurements for various squares. • Teachers notes. • All answers. ✦ Objectives: To practice: - • Metric Measurements • Finding the area of squares when given the side length. • Finding the perimeter of squares when given the side length. • Finding the side length when given the area of a square. • Finding the side length when given the perimeter of a square. ✦ Notes: All answers are included, so you can easily mark students work. Fractions of Amounts Multiplying a fraction with a whole number. There are 3 worksheets of increasing difficulty. All answers are included. For Challenges 1 and 2: For each challenge there is a question sheet and an answer sheet. There are 25 answers on the answer sheet, but only 24 questions on the question sheet. The challenge is for students to match each question to an answer. There will be one answer left. When they find the extra answer, students can create their own question for it. For Worksheet 3: Students are asked to work out fractions of money. At the end they will add up all the money to find a total answer. This resource can be used as worksheets, or you can read out the questions and let students cross off their answers in a quiz/bingo style.
