A comprehension activity based on an informative piece of text around the history of the World Cup plus a crossword and word-search extension activities. A great, age appropriate Functional Skills E3/L1 resource which would equally be useful in KS2 or early KS3. This would serve as a great World Cup introductory lesson in November prior to the tournament to link into other lessons and subjects across the curriculum. Mark Scheme and answer sheets are included.
