This work booklet was originally used in a Post 16 SEND setting with learners following a Horticulture project.
It contains simple information fact sheets about pumpkins, strawberries, tomatoes, garlic, onions and broad beans with an activity to accompany each one.
It also has a wordsearch and key words to put into alphabetical order, a labelling things needed for planting and some simple instructions for growing tomatoes, broad beans and onions.

Rhyming Sensory Poem/Story on the theme of Spring
The activities in this unit of work are interactive and promote learners’ understanding of spring through sensory and communication activities.
The resources contain some real photographs so are appropriate for learners of older ages but can equally be used with younger children. Some are illustrations, but I believe could still be used with older age groups.
All the activities are easy to deliver and simple to resource. They will not require extensive looking for equipment/items as most are in cupboards and around homes.
