The document comprises of two opposing interpretations of the causes of WW1. The first saying Germany was to blame and the second Serbia. The third source to help students is an image of the alliance system in 1914. The answer is worth 10 marks and contains grade descriptor for best answer. Test students general knowledge of events, people and places from the origins of the cold war up to 1963 using these two revision activities. Students mtach the letter to the appropriate number. The teacher can then go through the answers with them (these are included in the document for ease of use). Each of the two activities can take anywhere between 20 minutes and 50 minutes depending on how much explanation and teacher input you wish to make.
