Royal engagement - reading comprehension
This reading comprehension resource supports a BBC Newsround text which covers the announcement of the engagement of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
The resource contains 3 sets of questions differentiated for use throughout KS1 and 2. The resource is also suitable to support reading in KS3. Aswers and content domain references are included for the questions which are in the format of the SATs writing test.
Travel Ban - reading comprehension
It seems that Donald Trump is going to continue to court controversy. The latest storm has been the declaration of a travel ban for refugees and people from a number of countries, which was then successfully challenged in court. This reading resource uses two BBC Newsround texts which cover the ban and the subsequent court challenge.
The resource contains 3 worksheets of questions, differentiated for use through KS1 and KS2. It could also be used to support readers in KS3. Answers and ‘content domain’ references are included for each question.
