This Back To School Alphabet Memory Game is designed to help students match pairs of cards and develop essential skills.

Prep
Simply print, laminate and cut out the cards
Available in black and white and color
Direction:
Shuffle and place cards face done across the table. Have each student take turns selecting 2 cards at a time. If the cards match the student keeps the pair and gets another turn, if not, the cards should be placed back face down on the table and the other player gets a turn.
Variation
Sorting (uppercase, lowercase, consonants, vowels)
Cards can also be used for ordering the letters of the alphabet
Use as a bell ringer activity (Peer Match-up) Give each student a card and allow them to find who has their match.
Can also be used to play School Bus Hide and Find.

Print on card stock for added durability and longevity, laminate, cut and ready to use. Students will be able to use these over and over again.
Can be used along with a dry-erase marker or clothespins.
For self-correction, the teacher could mark a dot or place a sticker behind the correct answer on each card before laminating them.
Each set of clip cards may also be placed in colour code bins for easy retrieval.
