This resource contains 2 multiplication mosaics, “The Power of Yet” and “Growth Mindset”.I find they compliment each other extremely well and provide a fun, engaging and creative way for your students to learn their timetables. I have included 2 versions of each, one with a title on it and one without. Just choose which version is best for your class and print them off. They are all ready to go. The student just needs pencils, felts, etc to color it in. If I have a struggling student that does not know their timetables yet, I hand out a timetable chart to them so that they can complete it, or make sure they can see a copy of it on the wall.

Included in this resource is both 100 and 120 number charts so that you can easily differentiate your lessons depending upon the students ability and learning goals. These number charts are a perfect way for students to learn and practice both their counting and place value. I have used these individually, for groups and whole class work. Once the students are shown what to do, they can also be used for homework, seatwork, or at a math center.The grids are large enough for students to write the numbers in with some numbers already entered to guide the students along.

This fun and engaging game is the perfect way to review, study or reflect with your class on ANZAC day I typically put the class into small groups and ask a member of the group to choose a color and number. That is the question that they have to answer. If correct they get one point. Then I move to the next group. Alternatively the whole class answers and then we tally up the points to get a winner. I run it on an interactive whiteboard but would be equally successful on a projector, computer or TV screen. Alternatively it could be run for an individual student on their own device. When you start the game press the shuffle button to randomize the questions ensuring that no game is ever the same. This means that this Jeopardy game can be used multiple times with the one class as it is different every time. Once you have unzipped the file you will find a PowerPoint Macro Show. To run the game double click the file and make sure you say “yes” to running macros. If you do not the questions will not shuffle correctly. I have tested on a PC but it should work on other devices. If this is your first time with Macros let me know by personal message and I am happy to answer all your questions.

Personally I print it all off and staple it together to make an individual attractive booklet for them to learn from. Celebrate the Commonwealth Games 2022 Birmingham with this fun 5 in a row bingo game. There are enough cards for the whole class. 35 bingo cards included. I have played this game with my own class this week and they loved it. On each screen is a high quality image of the countries flag so that students can begin to associate which flag goes with which country. This game can be run on computers, whiteboards or projectors. All that is required is that you print, cut and laminate the Number Boards and press start on the PowerPoint Show. If you don’t have access to the technology, no problem, I have included a document with all of the country names on. Then you can do it old school and pull them out of a hat. The order of countries can be simply changed by pressing the shuffle button at the start. Each slide stays there for 10 seconds before it transitions to the next slide. If you want it to go quicker then simply click on it. I prefer to let it just run as it gives me a bit of quiet time while all the students are engaged. This Growth Mindset activity: Building Bridges or simply Bridges is a Japanese logic game originally called “Hashiwokakero” These puzzles will hook both you and your students in and wanting to do more. On each visually stunning puzzle you are given a number of islands where you need to join these islands with bridges. These puzzles are designed to improve your students spatial awareness. This version is slightly easier than my other version and is a great option of your students have never played these types of puzzles.
