This resource can be used for students completing a Gaming or Media Studies course. This is a 4 page game review worksheet for the video game Rocket League, where students answer questions about the upgrades, speed, playability, comparing other games from the same genre, graphics and sound etc. This can be used as an extension task after students have played the game or for substitute teaching

These 4 evidence sheets can be used to organise the students Entry Level 3 NOCN (National Open College Network) Painting course portfolio, in order to make it easier to find the NOCN criteria evidence. They are usually placed in front the accompanying NOCN Painting Entry Level 3 Portfolio Assessment Sheets (which are an opportunity for students to provide photographic evidence for their qualification). NOCN Painting L/506/7901. It covers all criteria, from 1.1 to 4.2.

This is a resource I use for SEN students completing Art sessions. At the beginning of the year, the students state what their EHCP Art goal is and how they will achieve it in sessions. This resource is a scenario where students can plan a trip to their local Vue cinema. You just need to add the appropriate info (street names etc.) for your local area! It gives advice to students of things they need to consider when planning their journey. It also encourages budgeting skills.

This is a 1 page resource that includes an Art rubric that can be used as a self assessment by students completing an art course. It is easily adaptable to suit whatever art criteria you need. I used it with my students with Autism who were completing Art NOCN (National Open College Network) courses. It is a good way for students to visually see how they are progressing throughout their Art course and what criteria is still left to achieve.

I use this resource with students that require Travel Training sessions. This is a short road safety quiz, with statistical information provided by the World Health Organisation about road traffic injuries in youths. It also provides information on how to cross the road safely.

This is a journey planner organisational chart which can be used for SEN students who require Travel Training sessions. Entry Level 1 to Level 2 students. It includes what the students need to consider in regards to planning travel on buses, taxis and the Metro (or Tubes/Trams). I use this in my Travel Training sessions, so students can independently plan a journey on public transport, learning valuable transferable skills.

This is a 1 page resource where students can peer assess each others work. They can state, what the artist did well, what they would like to see more of and what the art work shows. It can be used for the criteria : Comment constructively on someone else’s work.

I use this resource for students completing an Art and Design course. It is a 3 page PowerPoint that I print out and use as an Initial Assessment questionnaire with visuals, which may be useful for students with SEN. It is a good way to gauge what Art activities the students have/haven’t tried before and if there is any they wouldn’t like to do. This is a great way to inform the planning of your Art course and be inclusive to any potential sensory needs for SEN students.

Where students have to research iconic film cars such as, the DeLorean, Aston Martin and Batmobile/Tumbler and etc. This resource can be incorporated into a Film Studies course or to use a substitute teacher friendly resource, 1 day project. I use this resource for Media Studies sessions about genres. Students are given pictures of different types of media products that are all sports related and students have to identify the types of media products that they are, such as comic, music single, TV programme etc. This 4 page resource could be used as a session starter or for substitute teaching. It is a good way to include a students interest in sport when teaching Media Studies. Suitable for SEN, Entry Level 3 and above.

This is an 11 page PowerPoint presentation, which can also be printed out as an information booklet. The PowerPoint gives an overview of the EDSQ qualification course. It gives a brief explanation of what the students will be learning in each unit and what assessments are needed. This is a perfect resource to use with SEN students (Entry 3 to Level 1) who need to complete an EDSQ qualification.

This resource can be used for students that require Rarpa (Recognising and Recording Progress and Achievement); it is linked to the PfA (Preparing for Adulthood) goals/target - Employment Skills. Where students get to choose which employment goal they would like and then state how they can work towards this, either in lessons or in tutorial.
