Presentation about holidays in the present tense including a smartboard presentation (with an embedded video) and the worksheet for the listening (fill-in he gaps of the script) and he reading comprehension (find the French for...). I used it with my year 11 lower ability but it could easily be adapted to a higher ability group.

A lesson based on reading skills ranging from level 2 to level 4, based on the Marie-Antoinette Facebook page attached.\nThe starter is level descrption match-up and the plenary is a classic encore une fois.\nFull detailed lesson plan is included. Lesson was observed by HoD and SST and rated Outstanding.

A challenging lesson focussed on a song that is currently number 1 in the French charts.\n \nStarter:\n- Match the endings to the right pronoun\n \nMain:\n- Conjugate the infinitives in (taken from the lyrics)\n- Listen to the song and fill in the gap (using the verbs just seen) – don’t show the video as it is the lyrics video (it will show the answer)\n- Unjumble the key words (they can be found in the lyrics).\n \nPlenary:\n- Group discussion: what is the main theme of the song (answer: b. racism – although the other answers are also acceptable)

A series of lesson in one presentation focussing on higher level strategies for speaking and writing. It includes an extensive list of connectives, giving opinions in 3 time frames (6 tenses), adjectives, intensifiers, adverbs, negatives, introducing opinions (e.g. je pense que...) and a more comprehensive list of likes/dislikes. It also includes a pracice activity on the negative.
