This is my worksheet that is based on both of the required equations for power in the new AQA specification. Answers are also provided on printable A5 sheets for peer assessment.

I have used the AQA specification to create all of these questions and as such should not be missing anything major from the topic.

This is a numeracy/skills based lesson designed to train students into the proper ways of creating and labelling a good scientific table.
The main activity involves having the class create an extensive table for an experiment (you may choose to complete the experiment if you wish!) and they can PASA their progress on these skills at the end.
This is an experiment brought down from GCSE to KS3 so that the students can have an early taste of a required practical. The class will have the majority of the lesson to complete the lengthy experiment after you have shown the modelling slides and demonstrated the experiment yourself.
This lesson is followed up with a large mid-topic assessment piece.
The lesson can be done in 50 mins, but could over run. Included are the ppt and learning mat.

This is a handy sheet you may want to provide your classes - a simple to read list of all the equations required to be remembered for the AQA Physics 2016 curriculum. There is only one HT equation and this has been highlighted.

These are a set of resources you could use to revise the content of this unit. I have provided a standard revision sheet and mind map, as well as a Kagan structured "find someone who" activity on forces and a lower ability types of forces quiz.
This is lesson two in a SoW that is designed to into AQA GCSE content by year 9. This lesson goes into the idea of balanced and unbalanced forces and then defines a resultant force.
This is a fun lesson! You will need to book a Van Der Graaf generator for the demonstrate phase of the lesson and you will need balloons (and ideally, a balloon pump so that no moisture enters the balloon for maximum effect).
The ppt is heavily animated (it took a long time to make) but does get the concept across well.

This is my introductory lesson to the space topic for KS3. It broadly follows the Activate Science text book. I have added more information in however from the Astronomy GCSE - just interesting information and nothing too challenging.
