An accomplished secondary school teacher, I went on to qualify as an ESOL / EAL teacher for adults and young learners. I have several years experience teaching ESOL classes and one to one lessons, both face to face and online. I enjoy making resources that are tailored to meet the particular needs and level of the student.

A short Powerpoint presentation for teaching vocabulary used in maths related to place value and prime numbers. Primarily for use with EAL or ESOL students in school but could be used with adult learners of ESOL or Literacies who are working on numeracy or maths skills. Included in the presentation is a link to a vocabulary wordset in Quizlet (2D & 3D shapes), enabling the use of online flashcards and matching games and tests. There is also a link to an anagram game in Wordwall. This is part one of my English in Maths series.
