This is a resource that looks at bacteria, plant and animal cells. It requires a textbook (preferably the combined science 9-1). This is a really simple lesson that looks at defining and comparing the different cells before completing a worksheet to summerising the learning. The lesson starts by outlining what is needed and what an exam question looks like. It then moves to so questions and discussion based on the 3 cells that are required for the exam spec before getting the student to relate fertilization to all 3 specialist cells. This is a revision resource for the low to mid ability. The lesson consists of looking at and modelling the calculation before the students attempt the calculation and them try an exam style question. This is the format for calculating: speed, weight, acceleration and force.
