A speaking mat and support sheets for pupils when describing a photo in Spanish. There are lots of useful phrases to help with describing the photo itself, as well as lots of complex language and Grade 8 constructions for pupils to include. There is a speaking mat for revision and a support sheets with: phrases to introduce a photo, past tense expressions, weather phrases, using the gerund, complex constructions to include, useful connectives, opinion phrases etc. My own pupils have found this very useful and it provides an excellent scaffold for them producing high quality work.

An A4 worksheet and accompanying PowerPoint to introduce key vocabulary for the topic of les problèmes écologiques/ l'environnement. The vocabulary and activities can be built into any lesson on this topic: vocabulary recognition & match-up, slides for pupils to practise recognising these words.
