There are 11 questions, each slide has its own animated ‘Countdown’ style timer with audio which is played by hovering over the clock and clicking play. Most slides have English translations which you can show by clicking if necessary. Vocabulary tested is suitable for first-year German learners, and more difficult questions show English translations. The quiz takes around 30 minutes for questions and answers (answers included in slides)

A sheet explaining a variety of “little words” and giving guidance for usage. The sheet prints at an ideal size to be trimmed and stuck into the cover of a large exercise book. Words and phrases covered are: “in” “of” “there is/there was” “it is/it was” “to be” “to have” “connectives” This has proven invaluable in writing tasks where key terms are not problematic but pupils struggle to form sentences without “little words”!
