30 worksheets of simple subtraction activities illustrated and designed for use mainly with adults and teenagers. Work out simple subtractions using diagrams. Cross out the items that are being taken away and write the subtraction. Draw a diagram to illustrate a subtraction given the number to take away. Simple real-life situations e.g. take £1 off a price ticket or 3 years off children’s ages. Basic use of a calculator Use number lines Find the missing number in 8 - __ = 2 Connect the subtractions 9 - 6 = 3 and 9 - 3 = 6 Many of the sheets have a colour version to add to the visual appeal.
