Enjoy, Thanks for the support.
Comprehensive PowerPoint covering all Quadratics Graphs. Contains a short recap on straight line graphs and covers all the main quadratic functions such as n-shaped, u-shaped, and reciprocal. We use the table method to get the co-ordinates then sketch the graphs
I've also created a worksheet with plenty of questions for them to create tables and plot (answers included in separate files) Also contains a little on factorising quadratics.
Please see my free resource on straight line graphs that can be downloaded here https://www.tes.co.uk/teaching-resource/linear-straight-line-graphs-all-in-one-11072226
Hope you find this as useful as I did, & if you did please make our day by leaving us a comment or rating.
Much appreciated.

Comprehensive PowerPoint covering all the key aspects of Straight Line Graphs. Sections include: horizontal, vertical and diagonal lines, y = mx + c, finding the gradient &y-intercept, using the table method, the X=0, Y=0 method & supporting exercises (co-ordinates, negative numbers and substitution). Adapted from the straight line graphs resource also here on TES which contained a couple typo’s and errors. Please support the original author here. https://www.tes.co.uk/teaching-resource/straight-line-graphs-6011540 We have also created a similar resource on quadratic graphs which can be downloaded hereHope you find this as useful as I did, & if you did please make our day by leaving us a comment or rating. This challenge was based on my free maths murder massacre resource. Thanks for all the downloads and feedback.
This version features a new mystery for students to solve using mathematics, non-verbal reasoning & computing skills (cryptography).
It is the night of the Celebrity awards, however aTrophy has gone missing. A celebrity has made off with it in a getaway vehicle to a top-secret location and posted a Selfie on Twitter & Instagram of his ill-gotten gains.
Can you solve the mystery?
Features well known celebrities, popular getaway vehicles and the latest mobile that all students will know and love.
I’ve made it accessible for key stage 2 and 3 students (may be a little to easy for KS4), and packaged it as a presentation as well as including pdf versions so it can be distributed.

Maths Homework Booklet targeted for KS3 Maths Students. I have split it up into three stages with increasing difficulty so packs can be distributed to students accordingly and so that it will provide a challenge for all. At least a terms worth of homework is contained here. (add it to the other 2 packs & would make up a year )
This maths pack covers; multiplying & dividing fractions, percentage change, compound interest, simple interest, bearings, theoretical probability, experimental probability, averages, pie charts, area & volume, ratio & proportion, properties of numbers, HCF, LCM, significant figures and more.
Please check out the other stages too if you find this useful which cover other topics.

Thank you to all those who struggled with the Hannah’s sweets question (Edexcel Maths 2015), you inspired me to create this resource,
Goes well with our Free Hannah’s Sweets Resource & with our snakes and ladders quadratics game with over 500 questions.

The included files were inspired by the many maths murder mystery cryptography challenges (links are in the resource pack). This version is based on the gunpowder plot & in it students must discover the date, the culprit(s), the location and the victim (History students may find this task slightly easier)
I’ve made it accessible for key stage 3 and 4 students (may be a little too challenging for KS2), Makes a good whole class activity, can take up a whole lesson & I have used it on many occasions for a cover lesson. I’ve also created handouts in case you wanted to let the students do it individually. I sometimes give a prize to the student who solves it first.
I hope your students enjoy it & are able to solve the mystery.
The included files were inspired by the many maths murder mysteries i.e. https://www.tes.co.uk/teaching-resource/maths-murder-mystery--a-code-breaking-challenge-6337327
This version includes a modified mystery for students to solve using mathematics, non-verbal reasoning & computing skills (cryptography).
Accessible KS2, 3 & 4 Students (and packaged it as a presentation as well as including pdf/word doc versions so it can be distributed/modified.
I hope your students are able to solve the mystery and uncover the identity of the murderer!

Covers all the main topics a higher tier students need to know including: Fractions, decimals, percentages, squares, cubes, indices, exchange rates, percentage change, ratio, metric/imperial units & equivalents, circle theorem, translations, tessellations, nth term, linear graphs, quadratic graphs, pie charts, probability and much more.
It was created with AQA and Edexcel (Higher) in mind, but may be suitable for other exam boards too. I also have a corresponding foundation resource, so if you found this one useful feel free to download the other too. I’ve also included a couple screenshots so you can preview before download.
