A treasure hunt style resource to find out who has stolen the Christmas presents from the Three Wise Men. The suspects are: El Ratoncito Pérez, el Tió de Nadal, Orentzelo, Apalpador, Esteru and L’Angulero. All of them are traditional characters linked to traditions to either Spain or specific areas. Students will have to put into practice reading comprehension skills to uncover the thief. All texts include a description of the character and references to Spanish Christmas traditions. It can be used as a treasure hunt around school or as a lesson. All you need to do is print off the posters and provide students with the grid to fill in the information.
