Three lessons on crafting a piece of creative writing which is suspenseful and full of tension. I have based the lessons on the recent Bond movie. No Time to Die. The final task is a short story question writing in the first person as James Bond. My students loved. I have also included tasks on Indiana Jones and No Country for Old Men. All links included.

6 methods of writing effectively. **
Students must find as many words as possible using the letters in the wheel. Each word must use the hub letter and at least 2 others. Letters can be only used once. There’s a 9 letter word to find in each wordwheel. Modern and interactive PP.
This is a unit of work my students really loved. Can be used for ages 13+. This can last 2-3 lessons. This is teaching students how to write a tension -filled piece of work. The lesson looks at examples from the recent James Bond film, ‘No Time to Die’, ‘No Country for Old Men’ and 'Archer. Please view the clips before the lesson to make sure you deem them appropriate. Run-on sentences is one the most common errors students make in their writing. This lesson will focuses on how to correct them. The students will learn ways to help properly write two complete sentences (independent clauses) in one sentence by using the correct punctuation and conjunctions.
