Practical resources to investigate if wing length makes a difference to the speed a parachute seed falls to the ground. Template gives 4x seeds - cut along the dotted line and fold one wing behind and one wing in front. These can be trimmed. Also attached is the investigation plan.

The resource contains 10 teacher led demonstrations some of which students can also do, all focussing on the gas pressure laws (Gay-Lussacs, Boyles and Charles) and their relationships. The powerpoint also includes data students could plot to further understand the relationships. I have also included the foldable that students can use to further discover the relationships between temperature, volume and pressure. This can be used in conjunction with the powerpoint lesson ideas. I hope you find it useful especially if you a non specialist or you find yourself teaching this new area of the Physics curriculum.
