Geography: How are Cyclones affecting the Caribbean? (Hurricane; Responses; Typhoon)
This unit is created in line with my personal passion for anthropogenic climate change and Caribbean culture. This Unit is my favorite to deliver and has been streamlined over the last two years. This can be taught as a stand alone unit (6 weeks) or combined with a climate change unit that is also available as an additional unit (6 weeks).

Geography: Why is there Conflict in the Middle East? (Resources; Religion; Superpowers; Corruption)
This unit is created in line with my personal passion for Geo-politics and Middle Eastern culture. Whist this unit is framed around the varying sources of conflict in the Middle East, such as: Sunnie (Saudi Arabia) and Shai (Iran) regional relations; the decline in demand for oil and the 2022 Qatar World cup, it does seek to challenge stereotypes and deconstruct complex concepts for learners.

Retrieval Practice and Duel Coding Theory are incorporated and as well as regular links to other parts of the syllabus, this is in line to my recent academic readings. Geographical and numeracy skill have been planned for.

This is a contemporary unit made in 2020, that allows learners to understand the current standing and future projections of the UK’s energy sector.
